Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF) of NECTAR project
The Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF) is a tool that guides and promotes the environmental and social performance of the project and Government of Nagaland’s capacity to mitigate risks on this front.
The ESMF sets in place the principles, rules, guidelines and, procedures to assess the environmental and social risks/impacts. It contains specific measures and plans to reduce, mitigate and/or offset potentially harmful risks/impacts.
